Fab Foto Friday – Red Barn

It’s been a bit dreary around here these days and I am not complaining. I don’t mind the mild temperatures and lack of snow, but it doesn’t make for beautiful scenery or inspire many outdoor photo opportunities. So for this Fab Foto Friday, I am offering up some of my first works from Vermont during a lovely snowstorm. This is a series of graphically enhanced photographs of the same red barn. These are very close to my heart, so I hope you enjoy them.

While I love the three seasons (Summer only if I am on the beach or with my entire family), I am not sure you can sell the rest of the world on snow. For example, I live in the DC metro area- where drivers prove their stupidity when it rains, threatens to rain, snows, or even considers to snow. This past week, less than a 1000 snowflakes fell, traffic was more snarled than usual, and “Better Call Maaco” had a field day repairing the plethora of fender-benders….

Hi Roy! I believe you completely about the DC area and snow. We lived in Virginia for a short while and schools were closed for two weeks during a relatively mild ice storm that lasted a couple of days. It was stunning to those of us from up north! Have a great day! ~ Suerae

Those photos are so lovely. It is scenery that I never get to see living in Florida. I particularly like the one with the weather vane. I love to take photos too, though I am quite the amateur.

Hi Kristen! Thank you for stopping by – it’s always nice to hear from you. These days with photography, it doesn’t matter if you’re an amateur. The camera can do most of the work for you! Have a great day! ~ Suerae

Hi Tammy! I LOVE it when it seems that two people are thinking of each other at the same time. I am just sitting down and beginning to write my acceptance for the Kreativ Blogger! And of course, you are at the top of my thoughts! Thank you again for that and for visiting my Fab Foto Friday! (And agreeing with my mom – that will make her happy)! ;) Have a great day!

    That’s beautiful Suerae :)

In AZ it’s been a warm winter, not looking forward to the heat returning again.

Those pics make me want to grab a blanket and snuggle with my wife there for Valentines Day.

Hope you have a great one,

    Bryce
